Lobiko works to educate African communities (in diaspora) about health to improve their lives.
Lobiko, works to provide educational workshops and campaigns about HIV/AIDS, women’s reproductive health and youth leadership.
Lobiko works in the United Kingdom, Congo and South Africa. We work with community leaders, qualified health workers and partner with national health institutions to ensure our campaigns reach a wider audience. We work with national programmes to contribute to countries' health development, by providing services in schools, universities, hospitals and local communities.
Lobiko is founded by Horcelie Sinda in 2018, working alongside an incredible team Junior Masandi, Dorcas Ndosimua, Dr Zepherin Mossoko, Martin Ntita, Simplice Mavakala, Peace Adedeji and Esethu Sotheni.
Our Mission:
To reach Black/African communities to encourage HIV testing, end stigmatisation, giving blood and discuss mental health.
More health-related engagement programmes for youth of African/Black descent.
We believe in order to end AIDS by 2030 in the Congo, we must consider the political and economical state of the country. Lobiko therefore aims to work with victims affected by HIV/AIDS as a result of the on-going conflicts.
To ensure that nobody is left behind in the fight to end AIDS by 2030; reach marginalised or underrepresented communities.
To build clinics in the Congo and South Africa.
